I would definitely say that I’m obsessed with Tie Dye…especially creating tie dyes bags. Creating tie dye bags is like having a bunch of happy little planned mistakes on a piece of cloth that you can control, “So You Think!” to a certain extent. The rest you leave up to happy little accidents. It’s magnificent.

All my tie dye bags are handmade by me in our house in Lakewood Colorado. I have a large area in my basement where I go hide after the kids have gone to bed and I tie dye bags until my eyelids will no longer stay open. I use as little energy as possible and reuse everything I possibly can.

Every bag I make is carefully folded by hand, tied up tight, and dyed with permanent procion fiber reactive dyes. All tie dyed bags are washed multiple times with eco-friendly detergent to make sure they don’t bleed colors into your laundry. They are all preshrunk and machine washable with your regular laundry. Wash cold with like colors and tumble dry.
