Green living is the only way to go so as to save our world from toxic materials. I strongly agree that this move should start at home so as to gather the momentum it needs to succeed. Green gardening is one thing that can be achieved at home.

I think that this is true not only of how we build our homes, but also what we put in them. I can paint my house with low VOC paints, but if I am using pesticides in my garden or PVC plastics inside my home, I have not gained very much. I believe in little steps, because not everyone can afford a whole solar system or new hardwood floors. Simply winterizing the home is a good first step….you stay warm and use less fuel at the same time. You can add other steps later.

I agree that a home is a system and constructing green homes is the way to go. This will have the greatest impact. Making our homes more energy efficient and adaptable as new technologies are developed will be a huge momentum booster.
