Well, I don’t know about you guys…But, I do know it seems I’m constantly going through ink cartridges. Probably more often then I actually should…But, when you have kids “which some of you, I’m sure do have…” It can get pretty crazy with all the school projects, and other stuff kids print out! And you know as well as I do most kids just don’t seem to see the problem here… “Unless, you start having them pay for the ink themselves!”
And also buy products from recycled paper… You may be asking yourself how can I tell if the paper I’m using is recyclable?
Just take a quick look a the packaging. You will find a lot “especially nowadays!” have marked on the made from 100% recycled material. But, also there is a lot that don’t have this marking…” I guess it’s taking some companies awhile to catch up!”
One sure fire way to tell if your paper or cardboard is recyclable, is to take a look at the underside. If it’s of a gray color or dark brown color, the paper or cardboard is of a recyclable nature. Example: cereal boxes, cookies, crackers, and a whole lot of other grocery packaged items.
If it’s white in color…It’s definitely of an unrecycled material.
So, it’s really kinda easy to get started recycling your own paper & cardboard items you just have to know what to look for… And now you know
And maybe if enough of us do this very little thing, our children will see a whole new world of trees and the beauty they provide for all of us…Not to mention the life giving fuel they provide for all of us!
